Quizzes (sometimes called Tests or Assessments) are used to evaluate your learning, and can include a variety of question types (true/false, matching, multiple choice, etc.). You may find them at the beginning of a course, to assess what you already know, or at the end of a course, to demonstrate what you’ve learned.
Use the Quiz Navigation block to visually track your quiz progress/question status and, in some cases, skip from question to question.
Learn more about common Question Behavior settings (such as deferred vs. immediate feedback), how to recognize them, and what they mean for you.
Forum activities allow you to post comments and have online discussions with your fellow learners and course instructor.
Learn how to post a new discussion topic to a Forum activity.
Activities are the building blocks of courses, and each course can include any number or combination of required activities.
Many courses in the LMS include a Learning Modules activity, which involves a lesson that opens in a new window. Learning modules contain various topics, questions and interactive exercises.
When you’re enrolled in a course with an Event activity, be sure to sign up for a specific event session (they’re often offered at various times and locations) in order to attend and get credit for the event. This applies for online seminars AND in-person trainings.
Most learning modules include information exercises such as Tab, Slide and Accordion interactions. You must “click through” and view all info blocks before the system will allow you to move forward.
If you finish a lesson and return to the course homepage but notice that the Learning Modules activity isn’t marked complete, re-enter the lesson. It’s easy to miss some items because of the way the system tracks your progress.
