Update Role (video)

New learners must update the Role field in their account profile to make sure they have access to the right courses.

Your next task to ensure your account profile is accurate and complete is to update your Role, the only critical profile field that is not connected to the HR Database and must be updated manually.

Open ‘Edit Profile’ Page

  1. Select your name in the upper right-hand corner of the DHS Learning screen and choose Profile from the menu.
  1. Under the User Details block heading, select Edit Profile.

Select Your Role

  1. Scroll to the DHS Specific category at the bottom of the Edit Profile page.
  1. Choose the correct Role from the available dropdown menu. (Contact your supervisor if you’re unsure what to choose.)
  2. Click Update profile to save your changes.
